For 22 years Brown Jordan, practically synonymous with leisure furniture, has been an A&D Building mainstay but in the last year or so other A&D showrooms have entered the casual category as well. Recent developments include Poliform, now carrying Dedon, a brand famed for its fashionable woven fiber designs and Nova Studio featuring Extremis, a Belgian-based company with innovative pieces at such trendy hotels as the Standard in NYC. Adding to the excitement is B&B Italia with a line of weather-resistant wovens by Partricia Urquiola and its latest introduction of Charles Outdoor based on the iconic Charles furniture collection by Antonio Citterio.
